PHARMACEUTICAL CONSULTANT & QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SPECIALIST

Joseph founded Lanatus in 2020, his goals were to deliver excellence in quality management to the UK pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain, and to use his clinical skills and knowledge to support individuals on their healthcare journey.   

 

A conscientious and committed pharmacist, former superintendent pharmacist, and MHRA Responsible Person Joseph deeply understands pharmaceutical healthcare.

He knows there is a sector-wide need for a move towards more 'patient centric' healthcare - where the voices of patients are heard and assimilated.  He understands the power of information and education in addressing patients concerns and believes the answer is in giving personal and dedicated time to all patients.  By consistently delivering personalised pharmaceutical care Joseph believes healthcare inequalities can be reduced. 

 

Joseph understands that an effective quality management is the key to propagating business wide safe working practices, imbibe a patient safety culture and will vastly improve the experience of its healthcare personnel, and in turn their patients.

 

A Nottingham University pharmacy graduate (1998), with a postgraduate diploma in 'Prescribing Management in Primary Care' from the School of Healthcare Studies at the University of Leeds (2005).  Joseph was one of the first pharmacists in the UK to work within general practice (2003).  After 18 years of community pharmacy practice and some years in secondary care outpatient pharmacy Joseph became an MHRA Responsible Person, this further diversified his portfolio career.  His other roles include; superintendent pharmacist for a primary care pharmacy organisation, paediatric pharmacist at Great Ormond Street and The Whittington Hospitals, and as a consultant quality management specialist for the London Ambulance Service.
